The St. Louis Cardinals activated right fielder Ryan Ludwick from the 15-day disabled list before Saturday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Ludwick had been out since June 26 with an injury to his left calf. Ludwick, an All-Star in 2008 when he had 37 homers and 113 RBIs, went into Saturday with a .273 average with 11 homers and 42 RBIs.
